If you’ve already bought Infinity Blade (aka the best looking game on the iPhone) then you’re in luck! ChAIR Entertainment has just released a new update that adds multiplayer called “Arena Mode.”
In this mode you are paired one on one with another player, one of you plays as the standard knight from the singleplayer while the other is one of the many titans you normally fight against. Whoever wins 4 out of 7 rounds is the victor! Between each round you both are given some money and are taken to an upgrade menu where you can choose to buy new weapons and armor or if you’re a titan you can upgrade to a whole new monster altogether.
Playing as a titan is much different than the knight
Along with multiplayer there is also a Survival version of the Arena Mode. In survival you fight enemy after enemy in a very similar fashion to the multiplayer, however this time you don’t recover health between rounds, it’s a test of endurance! As if that wasn’t enough, the fine folks at ChAIR added in over two dozen new items in the singleplayer mode as well!
