Apple takes a bite out BBC's budget

    Despite the BBC's well-publicised ties with Microsoft (its last two tech chiefs either arrived from, or ended up, at Gates's company) it seems theApple bug has been caught. Auntie spent £10,000 a month last year on iPhones for staff and £40,000 on 104 iPads – which are apparently not approved for general use by staff. Apparently they were all bought for "testing purposes".
